At Angela Lord Aesthetics & Wellness, Advanced Cryotherapy provides a quick and effective treatment for selected benign skin lesions and imperfections. Using a precise jet of nitrous oxide, the treatment freezes the targeted tissue with millimetre precision while minimising damage to the surrounding healthy skin. The actual freezing process is usually very quick, with the training provider describing typical procedures as taking approximately 5–30 seconds.

What happens during treatment?
Your skin lesion will first be assessed to determine whether cryotherapy is appropriate.
The device delivers a fine, controlled jet of nitrous oxide directly to the treatment area, allowing highly targeted freezing of the unwanted tissue. Following treatment, the area will go through a natural healing process. Depending on the type, size and depth of the lesion, more than one treatment may be required.

Cryotherapy will only be performed where the lesion is considered appropriate for cosmetic treatment.
If a lesion is changing, suspicious or requires further assessment, treatment will not proceed and you may be advised to seek an appropriate medical or dermatology opinion.
